Upcom Ltd is currently looking for a SQL Server Database Administrator (REF UPC120206) to be part of the team in one of our clients in Brussels, Belgium

Description of Tasks

• Install, configure, and maintain multiple SQL Server databases and related products, following reference architecture and standards.

• Ensure security, data integrity, and maintain a high level of systems availability.

• Provide support to developers.

• Ensure 2nd line support (handling incidents and problems)

• Ensure 3rd level support (performance tuning and troubleshooting)

Specific skills

• Minimum of 2 years experience.

• Proven knowledge of SQL Server DBE 2005 and 2008 R2.

• Knowledge of SLQ Server BI 2008 R2

• Security and risk awareness

• Knowledge of SQL Server Clustering and SQL Server Database Mirroring will be an asset.

Languages

• Dutch or French and English

Specific requirement

• Duration: 6 months (with possible extensions)

• Start date: asap

• Office location : Brussels, Belgium

• Rate:   400€ max/working day, according to candidate’s level.
