Upcom Ltd is currently looking for a Senior Analyst Programmer (REF UPC120101) to be part of the team in one of our clients in Brussels, Belgium

Description of Tasks
The successful candidate will provide design, development, testing and integration services.  The candidate will contribute to the activities below:

• Design, coding, code review, and integration tests.

• Producing and/or participating in the production of the following RUP artefacts:  Software Architecture Document; Product (i.e. the software); Configuration Management Plan; Deployment Plan; Releases Notes.

Technology environment

• The development are adhering to the java-based EC reference architecture based on spring, spring mvc, jpa, hibernate, jax-ws, and jsf.

• The portal is relying on Oracle WebLogic Portal 10.3.

• Interoperability is achieved based on SOA principles and BEA Aqualogic Enterprise Service Bus 3.0

• Data is stored in Oracle Database 10.3.

• Development is based on Rational Unified Process and the Rational Tools (e.g. Team Concert, Software Modeller, Software Architect, Requisite Pro).

Skills

• University degree with minimum 5 years experience in IT.

• Experience in development, engineering and testing of information system infrastructure solution is the area of J2EE:

• Excellent knowledge of the Java technology (J2EE, EJBs, JSP, Ajax, etc.)

• Practical hands-on experience on WebLogic Application Server, Oracle RDBMS is required.

• Experience in leveraging Java development frameworks (such as Hibernate, Spring, etc)

• Proven project experience in using the RUP methodology.

• Good knowledge of English (spoken, written)

• Proactive attitude, communicative (i.e. good listener), rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working.
