Company structure

Upcom is structured around a core of IT professionals promoting its services and guaranteeing the continuity of the implemented projects, and relies on independent professionals or smaller structures for the majority of the projects assigned to the organisation.

At the core of the company, all usual activities of a company are performed: administration, marketing, sales, accounting. 

The Project Management Office - integral part of the core services - provides the guidelines for the execution of all projects and is in direct contact with the Project Managers of the individual projects.

The Quality Assurance team controls the project deliverables and guarantees their quality, according to the internal procedures. This team is currently actively working to achieve the required certification to international standards.

The End User Support team is responsible for supporting the implemented projects, both during and after their completion. It is usually playing the 2nd or 3rd level support to developed applications.

 

Around the core teams, stuffed by permanent employees or long term contractors, a number of external collaborators are used on per project basis.

This structure allows Upcom to adapt the team sizes depending on the number of assigned projects and guarantees a perfect match between the project requirements and the allocated resources.
